The students at Grady have had a great first week of school! Everyone is having a good time reconnecting with friends and getting back into the swing of the school year.
The high school cheerleaders started us off every morning by welcoming students and walking the younger kids to class. Junior high and high school athletes are eager to get started with fall sports coming up next week. The first varsity football game is coming up next Friday, the 26th, at Amherst. The first cross country meet is also next Saturday, the 27th, for junior high and high school in Midland.
The senior office aids are enjoying their time with the elementary kids and helping out teachers whenever they can. Kindergarten and Pre-K are mastering walking in line and the cafeteria routine.
